Frequently asked questions
Damages in transit
All our items are carefully wrapped and packed, and are usually sent via Royal Mail, by standard post. You can request that we send your item tracked and/or insured at an increased cost. On occasion we may have to use an alternative courier due to size/weight.
In the event that damage occurs, please keep all packaging. We will need photographs of everything to make a claim with Royal Mail, if you have paid for it to be tracked/signed for/insured
Compensation will only be paid to the buyer once the claim has been settled in our favour. Recompense will not be made (by the courier or Royal Mail,) on anything deemed 'breakable'.
Please note shipping costs are not refunded as Royal Mail do not include this cost in a claim. Thank you!
International Shipping
We take great care in packaging our items carefully for shipping but simply cannot take responsibility for any damages in transit for international shipping. We will make a claim on your behalf, if you paid for international signed for/tracked/insured, but if the claim is refused we will be unable to make a refund. Please note that shipping costs are not refunded by Royal Mail/UPS etc. or ourselves. Any item deemed 'breakable' can only be insured against loss - NOT damage. If you require your item to be insured please contact us - before purchasing - for a detailed shipping quote.

Condition of vintage items
All of our items are vintage and have been previously used and loved. They have had a previous life and so may well show signs of age-related wear. We will always try and describe any major defects or imperfections that we are aware of. Please ask any questions about the item before you place your order, so that we are all clear and happy! We are always happy to answer any questions you may have and supply extra photos. Thank you
